This research investigates the effect of turmeric powder (Curcuma longa) supplementation in commercial feed on the growth performance of oscar fish (Astronotus ocellatus) over a 30-day period using a completely randomized design with four treatments: feed without turmeric (control), and feed with turmeric powder at 15, 20, and 25 g kg-1 . Parameters observed included growth, feed efficiency, and survival rate. The results showed that the 15 g kg-1 dosage produced the best performance, enhancing growth, improving protein efficiency, and lowering the feed conversion ratio. The 25 g kg-1 dosage reduced performance, possibly due to decreased feed palatability caused by turmeric's active compounds. There were no significant differences in survival rates among the treatments. The addition of 15 g kg-1 turmeric powder is recommended as the optimal dose in oscar fish feed formulation to support efficient and sustainable growth. Keywords: feed conversion ratio, growth performance, oscar fish, turmeric powder
