This study aimed to evaluate the optimal use of cow dung and urea fertilizer at different doses for the production of pakchong grass cuttings in South Lampung. The study involved two stages. The first stage used a factorial randomized block design (RCBD) (3 doses of cow dung and 3 doses of urea) with three replications. The first factor is the dose of cow dung fertilizer (0, 5, and 10 tons ha-1) while the second factor is the dose of urea fertilizer (100, 200, 300 kg ha-1. The results of the study showed that there was no interaction (P>0.05) between the combination of cow dung and urea fertilizer on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of individuals ready for harvest, production of cuttings and vigor of pakchong grass at the age of 16 weeks after planting (WAP), however, the growth and production of pakchong grass cuttings at each treatment factor showed a significant effect (P<0.05). The use of cow dung fertilizer with a dose of 10 tons ha-1 and urea fertilizer 300 kg ha-1 provided optimum results in increasing plant growth and production of pakchong grass cuttings at the age of 16 WAP. While at the age of 20 WAP, there was a significant interaction (P<0.05) on plant height and number of leaves of pakchong grass use of cow dung fertilizer with a dose of 10 tons ha-1, and urea 200 kg ha-1 gave optimum results. In addition, other parameters were not significantly different (P>0.05), but each factor showed a significant effect (P<0.05) on the parameters of stem diameter, number of tillers, number of individuals ready for harvest, production of cuttings and vigor of pakchong grass cuttings. Age of 16 weeks after planting and a storage period of 4 days gave higher results on the number of cutting vigor available per hectare.
