Atmospheric Boundary Layer (ABL) height has a significant role in determining the vertical mixing and dispersion of air pollutants, particularly to particulate matter (PM). This study investigates the influence of ABL height variations on particulate concentrations in DKI Jakarta. Boundary layer height data were obtained from ERA5 reanalysis, while particulate concentration data were collected from five air quality monitoring stations across Jakarta with an hourly temporal resolution. The analyses were carried out using bilinear interpolation, visualization, cross-correlation function (CCF), and simple linear regression. The results indicate that both ABL height and particulate concentrations are higher during the dry season. Visual analysis shows a tendency for an inverse relationship between ABL height and particulate concentration in February, and a direct relationship in August. Correlation values of the data categorized as rainy and non-rainy varies from low to high (-0.13 to 0.81), with the highest coefficient of determination reaching 0.65. The highest correlation was observed in the rainy season data for August. The presence of numerous low correlation values may be attributed to the influence of additional factors affecting particulate concentrations and ABL height, including solar radiation, precipitation, air temperature, and anthropogenic activities.
