Abstract: Petani di Desa Sukaresmi, Kabupaten Bogor menghadapi masalah serius akibat serangan hama keong mas (Pomacea canaliculata) yang merusak tanaman dan umumnya hanya dibuang. Penelitian tersebut bertujuan memanfaatkan keong mas sebagai sumber Mikroorganisme Lokal (MOL) cair untuk tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.), menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil, menilai kelayakan ekonomi serta meningkatkan pengetahuan petani melalui penyuluhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MOL 25% memberikan bobot panen tertinggi (1,46 kg) dengan peningkatan signifikan pada tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun dibanding kontrol. Pengetahuan petani mengenai MOL meningkat setelah kegiatan penyuluhan. Analisis usahatani menunjukkan bahwa budidaya pakcoy dengan penggunaan MOL keong mas pada beberapa perlakuan telah layak secara ekonomi (R/C ratio > 1), namun skala produksi yang kecil masih membatasi perolehan keuntungan sehingga diperlukan peningkatan skala produksi dan strategi pemasaran yang lebih baik. Pemanfaatan MOL berbahan dasar keong mas terbukti efektif meningkatkan pertumbuhan pakcoy dan pengetahuan petani, tetapi perlu pengembangan lebih lanjut agar layak secara ekonomi.
Farmers in Sukaresmi Village, Bogor Regency, face serious challenges from golden apple snails (Pomacea canaliculata), which damage crops and are usually discarded. This study aimed to utilize golden snail–based Local Microorganisms (MOL) as liquid organic fertilizer for pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.), evaluate its effect on growth and yield, analyze economic feasibility, and improve farmer knowledge through extension. Results showed that 25% MOL produced the highest harvest weight (1.46 kg), significantly improving plant height and leaf number compared to control. Farmer knowledge of MOL increased substantially after extension activities. Economic analysis indicated that pakcoy cultivation was economically feasible in some treatments (R/C ratio > 1). Requiring larger production and better marketing to achieve viability. Golden snail based MOL is effective in improving pakcoy growth and farmer knowledge, but scaling up is needed for economic sustainability.
