Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil hematologi dan metabolit darah induk domba Garut pasca beranak yang diberi ransum flushing mengandung minyak berbeda. Ternak yang digunakan yaitu 12 ekor domba Garut betina dengan bobot 39,49±4,99 kg yang dikawinkan dengan pejantan Dorper. Penelitian menggunakan 3 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu P0= ransum flushing (tanpa penambahan minyak) + hijauan, P1= ransum flushing mengandung minyak ikan lemuru 6% + hijauan, P2= ransum flushing mengandung minyak biji bunga matahari 6% + hijauan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis mengunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan apabila terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil menunjukan bahwa pemberian ransum flushing mengandung minyak hewani berupa minyak ikan lemuru atau minyak nabati berupa minyak biji bunga matahari dalam konsentrat flushing tidak mempengaruhi (P>0,05) nilai hematologi dan metabolit lainnya namun nyata (P<0,05) menurunkan kadar glukosa darah. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian konsentrat flushing akhir kebuntingan dengan penambahan minyak ikan lemuru atau minyak biji bunga matahari memberikan pengaruh yang sama yaitu menurunkan kadar glukosa darah namun masih dalam kisaran normal dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap profil hematologi dan metabolit darah induk domba Garut pasca beranak.
This study aimed to observe the hematological and blood metabolite profiles of postpartum Garut ewes fed flushing rations with different oils. The research used 12 female Garut ewes with an average of 39.49±4.99 kg mated with Dorper male ewes. The treatments were P0= flushing ration (without adding oil) + green fodder, P1= flushing ration containing 6% lemuru fish oil + green fodder, P2= flushing ration containing 6% sunflower oil + green fodder. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and if the data were significantly different, they were further tested using the Duncan test. The result showed that the flushing ration contain animal oil in the form of lemuru fish oil or vegetable oil in the form of sunflower oil in flushing concentrate did not affect (P>0.05) hematological and metabolite profiles, but significantly (P<0.05) reduced blood glucose levels. It was concluded that supplementing flushing concentrate with lemuru fish oil or sunflower seed oil have the same effect, reduced glucose levels, but remained within the normal range and had no effect on hematological and metabolite blood profile of postpartum Garut ewes.
