| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh nanoemulsi herbal dan minyak Black Soldier Fly terhadap status fisiologis dan metabolit darah domba yang mengalami cekaman transportasi jarak jauh (667 km). Parameter yang diamati antara lain, suhu tubuh, denyut jantung, frekuensi napas, glukosa, kreatinin, urea dan laktat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) tersarang (nested) dengan dua faktor perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah posisi deck (D1 = deck bawah, D2 = deck tengah, D3 = deck atas) dan faktor kedua adalah pakan suplemen (S0 = larutan fisiologis NaCl 0,9% (kontrol), S1 = nanoemulsi habbatussauda dan minyak BSF, S2 = nanoemulsi kurkumin dan minyak BSF) yang tersarang dalam faktor pertama dengan 5 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nanoemulsi habbatussauda dan minyak BSF berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) menurunkan frekuensi napas. Pemberian pakan suplemen dan perbedaan posisi deck tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P>0,05) terhadap semua parameter metabolit darah. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah hasil yang menunjukkan banyaknya peubah yang tidak signifikan serta kondisi fisiologis yang normal mengindikasikan bahwa domba tidak stres selama transportasi jarak jauh. This study aimed to examine the effects of herbal nanoemulsions and Black Soldier Fly oil on the physiological status and blood metabolites of sheep undergoing long-distance transport (667 km). The parameters observed include body temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, glucose, creatinine, urea, and lactate. The experimental design used was a nested Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two treatment factors. The first factor was deck position (D1 = lower deck, D2 = middle deck, D3 = upper deck), and the second factor was supplementary feed (S0 = 0.9% NaCl physiological solution (control), S1 = nanoemulsion of black seed and BSF oil, S2 = nanoemulsion of curcumin and BSF oil) nested within the first factor with 5 replications. The results showed that nanoemulsion of habbatussauda and BSF oil significantly (P<0.05) reduced respiratory rate. The administration of feed supplements and differences in deck position did not significantly affect (P>0.05) all blood metabolite parameters. The conclusion of this study is that the results show that the number of insignificant variables and normal physiological conditions indicate that sheep are not stressed during long-distance transport. |
