| Abstract: | Budidaya sayuran hidroponik merupakan salah satu metode urban farming yang dapat menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi keterbatasan lahan di wilayah perkotaan serta mendukung ketahanan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan kelompok tani dalam pemanfaatan lahan, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap petani terhadap budidaya hidroponik, serta menganalisis kelayakan usahatani hidroponik. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pretest–posttest, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Komunitas sasaran adalah Kelompok Tani Margorukun Hokky di Kelurahan Gundih dengan jumlah responden 20 orang dan 1 informan tambahan yaitu PPL Kecamatan Bubutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok tani menghadapi kendala utama berupa keterbatasan lahan, minimnya pengetahuan teknis, dan belum adanya pengalaman budidaya hidroponik. Terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan petani sebesar 61% setelah penyuluhan, serta mayoritas responden memiliki sikap positif hingga sangat positif terhadap budidaya hidroponik. Analisis usahatani menunjukkan R/C ratio sebesar 1,9 pada DFT dan 2,7 pada growing tower, sehingga usaha layak dikembangkan. Pendampingan melalui penyuluhan dan pendampingan memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan kapasitas kelompok tani dan menjadi strategi efektif untuk mengoptimalkan lahan terbatas di perkotaan. Hydroponic vegetable cultivation is one of the urban farming methods that can serve as a solution to limited land in urban areas and support food security. This study aims to identify the problems faced by farmer groups in land utilization, improve farmers’ knowledge and attitudes toward hydroponic cultivation, and analyze the feasibility of hydroponic farming. The research employed both quantitative and qualitative approaches, with data collected through observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), pretest–posttest, questionnaires, and documentation. The target community was the Margorukun Hokky Farmer Group in Gundih Village, consisting of 20 respondents and one additional informant, the Agricultural Extension Officer of Bubutan District. The results showed that the main challenges were limited land, lack of technical knowledge, and no prior experience in hydroponic farming. There was a significant improvement in farmers’ knowledge by 61% after the training, and the majority of respondents demonstrated positive to very positive attitudes toward hydroponic cultivation. Farm business analysis showed an R/C ratio of 1,9 for the Deep Flow Technique (DFT) and 2,7 for the growing tower, indicating that the business is feasible to develop. Training and mentoring activities had a positive impact on enhancing the capacity of the farmer group and proved to be an effective strategy to optimize limited urban land. |
