Abstract: Penggunaan mesin pemeras singkong parut otomatis melibatkan aktivitas fisik berulang yang berpotensi menimbulkan risiko ergonomi.
The operation of an automatic pressing machine for grated cassava involves repetitive physical activities that pose ergonomic risks. This study aimed to analyze the working posture of operators using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method and to assess its ergonomic risk level. Data were collected through video recordings of subjects representing three body size percentiles (P5, P50, P95) and analyzed using Kinovea software and REBA scoring sheets. The results showed that most work elements fell into the medium risk category with final REBA scores ranging from 3 to 7. The highest-risk tasks included bending to place the pressing tube on the floor, lifting cassava sacks, and placing sacks on the floor, with scores reaching 9. Kruskal-Wallis statistical analysis indicated no significant differences among percentiles, suggesting the machine can be operated by workers of various body sizes. These findings highlight the importance of ergonomic posture training and suggest the need for both temporary and permanent machine design improvements.
