Abstract: Limbah Jerami adalah sisa panen padi setelah diambil hasilnya. Limbah jerami menjadi permasalahan dilinkungan masyarakat kampung muara, Desa Cibunian, Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor. Limbah jerami memicu permasalahan lingkungan karena masyarakat kampung Muara melakukan pembakaran limbah jerami langsung diruang terbuka. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat pakan ternak dari olahan limbah jerami padi, menghitung efektivitas pengurangan limbah jerami, membandingkan nilai kandungan nutrisi pakan dengan SNI 01-8818 tentang konsentrat kambing perah laktasi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pakan fermentasi pada perlakuan 1 yaitu sebanyak 17,57 Kg , perlakuan 2 sebanyak 24,57 Kg dan perlakuan 3 sebanyak 31,57 Kg dengan efektivitas pengurangan limbah 1,45 % ; 2,90 % ; 4,35 %. Hasil analisis proksimat menunjukkan hasil yang belum memenuhi standar mutu pakan ternak. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pemafaatan limbah jerami padi tidak efektif untuk mengurangi limbah jerami apabila digunakan dalam jumlah sedikit tetapi akan efektif apabila digunakan dalam jumlah besar.
Straw waste is the residue left over from the rice harvest. Straw waste is a problem in the Muara Village community, Cibunian Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. Straw waste triggers environmental problems because the Muara Village community burns it directly in open spaces. This study aims to produce animal feed from processed rice straw waste, calculate the effectiveness of straw waste reduction, and compare the feed's nutritional content with SNI 01-8818 concerning concentrate for lactating dairy goats. The results showed that fermented feed yielded 17.57 kg in treatment 1, 24.57 kg in treatment 2, and 31.57 kg in treatment 3, with waste reduction effectiveness of 1.45%, 2.90%, and 4.35%. Proximate analysis results indicated that the results did not meet animal feed quality standards. These results indicate that utilizing rice straw waste is ineffective in reducing straw waste when used in small amounts, but it is effective when used in large quantities.
