| dc.description.abstract | Perubahan iklim telah menjadi tantangan serius bagi sektor pertanian dan peternakan di Indonesia, khususnya pada usaha peternakan sapi perah yang sangat bergantung pada kondisi iklim. Penelitian ini menganalisis kerentanan peternak sapi perah terhadap perubahan iklim di Desa Situ Udik, Kecamatan Cibungbulang, Kabupaten Bogor, dengan menggunakan Livelihood Vulnerability Index (LVI) dan LVI berdasarkan kerangka IPCC AR4. Data dikumpulkan dari 30 peternak melalui kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kerentanan peternak berada pada kategori sedang, dengan nilai LVI berkisar antara 0,3 hingga 0,6. Sementara itu, serta nilai LVI-IPCC mayoritas berada pada rentang -0,07 hingga 0,3 (kategori tidak rentan), namun sebagian responden memiliki nilai di atas 0,31 yang tergolong cukup rentan. Faktor utama yang memengaruhi kerentanan meliputi keterbatasan akses air, paparan bencana iklim, ketergantungan pada satu sumber pendapatan, serta lemahnya infrastruktur dan layanan kesehatan ternak. Walaupun sebagian peternak memiliki kapasitas adaptif melalui partisipasi kelompok ternak dan pengalaman beternak, tingginya paparan iklim serta rendahnya diversifikasi pendapatan meningkatkan risiko kerentanan. Pendekatan LVI dan LVI-IPCC AR$ menunjukkan hasil analisis kerentanan yang relative konsisten. Dengan demikian, penguatan akses terhadap sumber daya, infrastruktur, dan dukungan kelembagaan menjadi penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi peternak sapi perah terhadap perubahan iklim. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Climate change poses a serious challenge for the agricultural and livestock sectors in Indonesia, particularly for dairy farming which is highly influenced by climatic conditions. This study analyzes the vulnerability of dairy farmers to climate change in Situ Udik Village, Cibungbulang Sub-district, Bogor Regency, using the Livelihood Vulnerability Index (LVI) and LVI based on the IPCC AR4 framework. Data were collected from 30 farmers through questionnaires and interviews. Results show that vulnerability levels fall into moderate category, with LVI values ranging from 0.3 to 0.6. Meanwhile, most LVI-IPCC values lie between -0,07 and 0.3 (non-vulnerable category), although some respondents had values above 0.31 indicating moderate vulnerability. The main factors influencing vulnerability include limited water access, exposure to climate-related hazards, reliance on a single income source, and weak infrastructure and livestock health services. Although some farmers have adaptive capacity through group participation in farmer groups and farming experience, high exposure and low income diversification remain significant driver of vulnerability. The LVI and LVI- IPCC AR4 approaches yiled relatively consistent results in assessing vulnerability. Strengthening access to resources, infrastructure, and institutional support is essential to enhance the adaptive capacity of dairy farmers to climate change. | - |
