Skidding is one of the stages in timber harvesting, influencing the efficiency and cost of timber production. This study aimed to calculate the productivity and skidding cost of teak logs at RPH Cihirup, BKPH Waled, KPH Kuningan using a semi-mechanical system with a John Deere 6403 tractor. The study of working time and skidding costs was carried out through direct field observations using a stopwatch with the null-stop method, combined with interviews to obtain skidding cost data. The results showed that effective productivity reached 1.30 m³/hour, and the actual productivity was 1.23 m³/hour, with an average actual working time of 95.52 minutes per cycle. The skidding cost resulting from wages and equipment rental was IDR 260,965/m³, and if the tractor was owned by Perhutani, the skidding cost was IDR 124,719/m³, with an average skidding distance of 1.89 km. The regression analysis showed that timber volume, skidding distance, and working time had a significant effect on productivity (R² = 95.87%), while the slope of the skidding road had no significant effect due to the relatively uniform slope observed at the study site.
