| dc.description.abstract | Limbah batang pisang merupakan salah satu limbah pertanian setelah kegiatan pemanenan dilakukan. Timbulan limbah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan dan bau tidak sedap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat kertas seni dengan bahan baku limbah batang pisang, menghitung efektivitas pengurangan timbulan limbah batang pisang dengan adanya pengolahan limbah batang pisang menjadi kertas seni, mengetahui kualitas kertas seni yang dihasilkan berdasarkan hasil uji ketahanan tarik dengan metode pengujian ASTM D828 dan uji gramatur kertas dengan metode pengujian ASTM D646, dan menentukan harga jual kertas seni berbahan baku limbah batang pisang dengan metode Cost Plus Pricing. Efektivitas pemanfaatan limbah setelah dimanfaatkan menjadi kertas adalah sebesar 0,75%-1,25%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian variasi kertas seni terbaik yaitu dengan penggunaan larutan NaOH dengan konsentrasi 3,5% yang memiliki ketahanan tarik sebesar 24,66 mPa dan gramatur sebesar 91,3 g/m2. Perhitungan harga biaya produksi (HPP) dari proses produksi kertas seni dari limbah batang pisang sebesar Rp6.075,-/produksi dengan harga jual sebesar Rp7.875,-/lembar. | dc.description.abstract | Banana stem waste is one of the agricultural wastes after harvesting. Improperly managed waste can cause environmental pollution and unpleasant odors. This study aims to quantify the effectiveness of banana stem waste reduction through processing into paper. It also aims to determine the quality of the resulting paper based on tensile strength tests using the ASTM D828 method and paper grammage tests using the ASTM D646 method. It also determines the selling price of paper made from banana stem waste using the Cost Plus Pricing method. The effectiveness of waste utilization after being converted into paper was 0,75%- 1,25%. Based on the test results, the best paper variation, using a 3.5% NaOH solution, had a tensile strength of 24.66 mPa and a grammage of 91.3 g/m2. The calculation of the cost of production (COGS) for banana stem art paper production is Rp6.075,-/production, with a selling price of Rp7.875,-/sheet. | |
