| dc.description.abstract | Potensi sumber daya krustasea di Teluk Palabuhanratu cukup melimpah, namun perangkap krendet tradisional kurang efektif karena tidak memiliki pelindung dan dimensi ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efektivitas perangkap krendet bertingkat 1 pintu dan 2 pintu terhadap hasil tangkapan krustasea. Metode experimental fishing dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 unit perangkap krendet bertingkat 1 pintu dan 3 unit 2 pintu selama 20 trip di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi jumlah, berat, dan jenis krustasea hasil tangkapan. Analisis data menggunakan uji non-parametrik MannWhitney untuk membandingkan hasil tangkapan antara kedua jenis perangkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan krendet 2 pintu memiliki jumlah ekor dan berat tangkapan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan 1 pintu, dengan margin produksi sebesar 43,48% untuk jumlah ekor dan 69,49% untuk berat (kg). Spesies dominan adalah rajungan bintang (Portunus sanguinolentus), dengan kelayaktangkapan lebih banyak pada perangkap 2 pintu. Walaupun hasil uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak signifikan, produktivitas krendet 2 pintu cenderung lebih baik. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan perangkap krendet bertingkat 2 pintu lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan tangkapan krustasea dan direkomendasikan untuk digunakan oleh nelayan di wilayah penelitian. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Potential crustacean resources in Palabuhanratu Bay are quite abundant, but traditional krendet traps are less effective because they lack protection and space dimensions. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of 1-door and 2-door multilevel krendet traps on crustacean catches. The experimental fishing method was conducted using 3 units of 1-door and 3 units of 2-door krendet traps for 20 trips in the waters of Palabuhanratu Bay. Data collected included the number, weight, and type of crustaceans caught. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney non-parametric test to compare catches between the two trap types. The results showed that the 2-door krendet had a higher number and weight of catches than the 1-door, with a production margin of 43.48% for number of fish and 69.49% for weight (kg). The dominant species was star crab (Portunus sanguinolentus), with more fingerlings caught in the 2-door trap. Although statistical tests showed insignificant differences, the productivity of 2-door krendet traps tended to be better. In conclusion, the use of 2-door multilevel krendet traps is more effective in increasing crustacean catches and is recommended for use by fishers in the study area. | - |
