| Abstract: | Sentra Penggilingan Padi (SPP) BULOG Magetan mengalami kendala
ASP mengandung silika sebesar
50,97%, yang berpotensi diekstraksi sebagai bahan baku industri. Oleh karena itu,
dilakukan perancangan pabrik dengan pendekatan Systematic Layout Planning
(SLP) berdasarkan analisis data P-Q-R-S-T, Activity Relationship Chart (ARC),
dan Total Closeness Rating (TCR). Proses perancangan dibantu dengan algoritma
BLOCPLAN untuk menghasilkan 20 alternatif layout. Alternatif terbaik dipilih
The Rice Milling Center (SPP) of BULOG Magetan is facing an issue of accumulated rice husk ash (RHA) waste within its facility. This waste contains a high concentration of silica (SiO2), making it a promising raw material for silica powder production. Based on exploratory findings, the plant generates approximately 1,000 kg of RHA daily, which has not been optimally utilized. With a silica content of 50.97%, RHA holds significant potential for industrial applications through extraction processes. To address this, a factory layout was designed using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) approach, incorporating analysis of P-Q-R-S-T data, an Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), and Total Closeness Rating (TCR). The layout development was supported by the BLOCPLAN algorithm, which generated 20 layout alternatives. The best alternative was selected based on the highest R-score and further visualized in both 2D and 3D using SketchUp. The results indicate that a silica powder plant with a production capacity of approximately 1,536 kg per batch per day can be efficiently implemented within a space of around 331 m². |
