Climate change, global warming, and greenhouse gas emissions highlight the need for locally based mitigation strategies. The Productive Carbon Forest (HKP) Program in Garut Regency was developed through an agroforestry system integrating coffee, avocado, durian, and forestry species to improve farmers’ welfare while maintaining ecological functions. This study aims to analyze the success of HKP and its relationship with farm business improvement among Al- Bayyinah Cooperative partners. A mixed method was applied, combining qualitative approaches through observation and interviews with quantitative surveys involving 45 respondents selected based on population homogeneity. Results indicate that 76% of respondents rated the program as successful or moderately successful, although none considered it highly successful. Spearman’s rank correlation analysis revealed that the relationship between program success and farm business improvement was weak in the early phase but tended to strengthen in the 9th–10th year as commodities entered full production. These findings emphasize that program success is closely linked to institutional support, empowerment, and technical readiness, thus requiring continuous assistance to ensure sustainability.-
