dc.description.abstractPerubahan iklim global mendorong perlunya upaya mitigasi melalui pemanfaatan lahan hutan secara produktif dan berkelanjutan. Program Hutan Karbon Produktif (HKP) merupakan program yang diinisiasi untuk mendukung upaya “Astra Carbon Offsetting” yang dilakukan oleh PT Astra International Tbk. bekerja sama dengan IPB University dan petani mitra Koperasi Al Bayyinah di Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan perilaku petani kopi melalui peningkatan kapasitas dalam bentuk pelatihan Good Agriculture Practices (GAP), pelatihan bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh karakteristik petani terhadap perubahan tersebut dan dampaknya terhadap tingkat implementasi GAP. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-test dan post-test. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, regresi logistik ordinal, dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan GAP berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan petani (Sig. < 0,001). Karakteristik seperti pendidikan, usia, lama bertani, dan luas lahan terbukti memengaruhi aspek-aspek perubahan perilaku secara parsial. Perubahan perilaku tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat implementasi GAP yang diduga disebabkan oleh keterbatasan eksternal seperti ketersediaan bibit. Temuan tersebut menekankan pentingnya pendampingan berkelanjutan dan penyediaan sarana pendukung agar pelatihan dapat berdampak optimal terhadap implementasi budidaya kopi yang berkelanjutan.-
dc.description.abstractGlobal climate change has highlighted the need for mitigation efforts through the productive and sustainable use of forest lands. The Productive Carbon Forest (HKP) Program was initiated to support PT Astra International Tbk.'s “Astra Carbon Offsetting” initiative in collaboration with IPB University and partner farmers from the Al Bayyinah Cooperative in Garut Regency. This study aims to analyze behavioral changes among coffee farmers through capacity building in the form of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training, and to examine the influence of farmer characteristics on these changes and their impact on GAP implementation. A quantitative approach was employed with a pre-test and post-test design. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, ordinal logistic regression, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that GAP training significantly improved farmers’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills (Sig. < 0.001). Characteristics such as education, age, farming experience, and land area partially influenced behavioral changes. However, these changes did not significantly affect the level of GAP implementation, likely due to external constraints such as limited seed availability. These findings underscore the importance of continuous support and provision of necessary inputs to ensure that training efforts effectively translate into sustainable coffee cultivation practices.-
