| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan padat tebar terbaik pendederan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) pada lahan bekas tambang pasir sebagai lokasi menggunakan sistem karamba jaring apung (KJA). Percobaan dilakukan dengan tiga perlakuan padat tebar, yaitu 100, 200, dan 300 ekor m-3 selama 60 hari pemeliharaan. Parameter yang diamati mencakup kinerja produksi (pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup, produktivitas), kualitas air, dan kinerja usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa padat tebar 100 ekor m-3 menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot ikan terbaik secara signifikan (P<0,05). Nilai keragaman panjang dan bobot semua perlakuan di bawah 20%. Meskipun produktivitas total tertinggi diperoleh pada padat tebar 200 ekor m-3. Analisis usaha menunjukkan bahwa padat tebar 200 ekor m-3 memberikan keuntungan tertinggi (Rp10.059.870 per tahun), R/C ratio 1,31, dan waktu balik modal tercepat (0,75 tahun). Lahan bekas tambang pasir berpotensi digunakan secara berkelanjutan untuk pendederan ikan nila, terutama dengan manajemen padat tebar dan kualitas air yang tepat. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the optimal stocking density for tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) farming on former sand mining sites using floating net cage systems (KJA). The experiment consisted of three stocking density treatments: 100, 200, and 300 fish m-3, maintained over a 60-day rearing period. Observed parameters included production performance (growth, survival rate, productivity), water quality, and business performance. The results showed that the 100 fish m-3 treatment produced significantly better length and weight growth (P<0.05). The length and weight variation in all treatments remained below 20%. Although the highest total productivity was achieved at 200 fish m-3, business analysis revealed that this stocking density also yielded the highest profit (IDR 10,059,870 per year), an R/C ratio of 1.31, and the shortest payback period (0.75 years). Abandoned sand mining ponds show potential for sustainable tilapia nursery farming, particularly with proper management of stocking density and water quality. | - |
