Abstract: Upaya peningkatan produktivitas cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) dapat dioptimalkan melalui strategi pemupukan yang mengintegrasikan keseimbangan antara hara makro dan mikro, guna menunjang pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman secara maksimal. Pemupukan berperan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hara tanaman yang tidak dapat disediakan secara optimal oleh tanah. Cabai rawit membutuhkan hara makro dan mikro yang cukup. Defisiensi unsur hara mikro dapat mengurangi hasil panen walaupun tanaman hanya menyerapnya dalam jumlah sedikit. Meskipun berbagai studi telah menunjukkan peran penting unsur hara mikro terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman hortikultura, informasi tentang efektivitas metode aplikasi pupuk mikro pada cabai rawit masih terbatas, khususnya di sistem fertigasi modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan metode aplikasi pupuk mikro terbaik dan konsentrasi optimum pupuk mikro terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai rawit. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Cikarawang, Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura, IPB University pada Bulan Mei 2024 sampai dengan Bulan April 2025. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktor tunggal, yaitu metode aplikasi pupuk mikro yang terdiri dari 4 taraf (foliar spray, drip irrigation, dan soil drench) pada percobaan pertama dan konsentrasi pupuk mikro yang terdiri dari 5 taraf (0, 0,0625, 0,125, 0,1875, dan 0,25 g/l) pada percobaan kedua, masing masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi unsur hara mikro meningkatkan tinggi dan diameter batang tanaman cabai rawit. Metode aplikasi foliar spray dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman pada 10 MST yaitu sebesar 113,36 cm (7,62%) dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lain. Konsentrasi optimum pupuk mikro lengkap terbaik diperoleh pada variabel jumlah buah per tanaman pada panen ke-3 yaitu sebesar 0,148 g/l, sedangkan pada variabel bobot buah per tanaman pada panen ke-3 konsentrasi optimum pupuk mikro lengkap terbaik yaitu sebesar 0,192 g/l
Improving the productivity of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) can be optimized through a fertilization strategy that integrates a balance between macro and micronutrients to support maximum plant growth and yield. Fertilization plays a role in meeting the nutrient needs of plants that the soil cannot optimally provide. Cayenne pepper requires sufficient macro and micronutrients. Micronutrient deficiencies can reduce crop yields even though plants only absorb them in small quantities. Although various studies have shown the important role of micronutrients in the growth of horticultural crops, information on the effectiveness of micronutrient fertilizer application methods on chilli peppers remains limited, particularly in modern fertigation systems. This study aims to determine the best micronutrient fertilizer application method and optimal micronutrient fertilizer dosage for the growth and yield of chilli peppers. The study was conducted at the Cikarawang Experimental Farm, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, IPB University, from May 2024 to April 2025. The study used a single factor randomized block design, consisting of four levels of micro-nutrient application methods (foliar spray, drip irrigation, and soil drench) in the first experiment and five levels of micro-nutrient concentration (0, 0,0625, 0,125, 0,1875, and 0,25 g/l) in the second experiment, with each treatment repeated five times. The study results indicate that applying micronutrients increases chili plants' height and stem diameter. The foliar spray application method can increase plant height at 10 MST by 113.36 cm (7.62%) compared to other treatments. The optimal concentration of complete micro-nutrient fertilizer was obtained at the variable of number of fruits per plant at the third harvest, which was 0.148 g/l. In contrast, at the variable of fruit weight per plant at the third harvest, the optimal concentration of complete micro-nutrient fertilizer was 0.192 g/l
