| Abstract: | Kesejahteraan psikologis penting bagi mahasiswa dalam mendukung keberhasilan akademik dan sosial serta menghadapi berbagai tantangan kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi aktivitas fisik, perilaku sedentari, dan kesepian terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory research yang dilakukan di IPB University, Bogor. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode survei terhadap 212 mahasiswa sarjana yang terdiri dari 110 mahasiswa laki-laki dan 102 mahasiswa perempuan dengan alat bantu kuesioner yang diisi secara self-administered. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan alat bantu SPSS 25.0 dan SEM-PLS3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lebih dari separuh mahasiswa mempunyai tingkat motivasi beraktivitas fisik dan kesejahteraan psikologi pada kategori sedang. Sementara itu, lebih dari separuh mahasiswa memiliki tingkat kesepian kategori tinggi dan hampir tiga per empat mahasiswa memiliki tingkat perilaku sedentari sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa laki-laki memiliki motivasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa perempuan. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dan usia ayah terhadap motivasi beraktivitas fisik dan antara pendidikan ayah dengan kesepian. Motivasi beraktivitas fisik berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap perilaki sedentari dan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis, Sementara itu, kesepian berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi promotive untuk memotivasi mahasiswa untuk beraktivitas fisik serta intervensi sosial seperti program peer mentoring atau buddy system, layanan konseling mahasiswa, dan pelatihan tentang pengelolaan emosi, penetapan tujuan hidup, dan strategi koping untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Psychological well-being is important for students in supporting academic and social success and coping with various life challenges. This study aims to analyze the influence of physical activity motivation, sedentary behavior, and loneliness on students' psychological well-being. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design conducted at IPB University, Bogor. Data were collected through a survey of 212 undergraduate students, comprising 110 male students and 102 female students, using a self-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with SPSS 25.0 and SEM-PLS3. The results showed that more than half of the students had moderate levels of motivation for physical activity and psychological well-being. Meanwhile, more than half of the students had high levels of loneliness, and nearly three-quarters of the students had very high levels of sedentary behavior. The results indicated that male students had higher motivation compared to female students. Correlation test results showed a relationship between gender and father's age on physical activity motivation and between father's education and loneliness. Physical activity motivation had a significant negative effect on sedentary behavior and a significant positive effect on psychological well-being. Meanwhile, loneliness had a significant negative effect on psychological well-being. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of promotive strategies to motivate students to engage in physical activity, as well as social interventions such as peer mentoring programs or buddy systems, student counseling services, and training on emotion management, goal setting, and coping strategies to enhance students' psychological well-being. |
