| Abstract: | Radio komunitas berfungsi sebagai media untuk menyampaikan informasi, edukasi, dan hiburan sesuai kebutuhan komunitas dengan partisipasi sebagai unsur pentingnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara partisipasi dengan kepuasan pendengar Radio Komunitas KARMILA FM. Penelitian menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan 50 responden dan data kualitatif dari observasi serta wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar pendengar memiliki tingkat partisipasi sedang, baik dalam pembiayaan maupun siaran. Tingkat kepuasan pendengar tergolong tinggi, khususnya pada aspek identitas pribadi, integrasi dan interaksi sosial, dan hiburan. Uji korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara partisipasi dan kepuasan, meskipun kekuatannya tergolong cukup lemah. Selain itu, usia, jenis pekerjaan, dan tingkat pendapatan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan partisipasi, sedangkan jenis kelamin dan tingkat pendidikan tidak berhubungan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mendukung pentingnya strategi pengelolaan radio komunitas yang berbasis partisipasi untuk meningkatkan kepuasan komunitas. Community radio functions as a medium to deliver information, education, and entertainment according to the needs of the community with participation as an important element. This study aims to analyze the relationship between participation and listener satisfaction of KARMILA FM Community Radio. The research used simple random sampling method with 50 respondents and qualitative data from observation and in-depth interviews. The results show that most listeners have a moderate level of participation, both in financing and broadcasting. The level of listener satisfaction is high, especially in the aspects of personal identity, social integration and interaction, and entertainment. The Spearman’s Rank correlation test shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between participation and satisfaction, although the strength is quite weak. In addition, age, occupation, and income level have a significant relationship with participation, while gender and education level are not related. The results of the study are expected to support the importance of participation-based community radio management strategies to increase community satisfaction. |
