Community Forest (HKm) management is an important strategy to support forest sustainability and improve the welfare of surrounding communities. This study aims to analyze the management of HKm by KTH Satria Mandiri and formulate strategies to optimize forest management. The respondents consisted of 22 KTH members interviewed through a census approach. The analytical methods used include income contribution analysis to assess the role of HKm in household income, market chain analysis to calculate profit margins for each actor, and SWOT analysis to formulate strategies. The results show that HKm contributes 39% to farmers’ household income, with an increase in members living above the poverty line from 27% to 50% after the implementation of HKm. However, the group’s institutional capacity remains weak, and most commodities, such as coffee and aren, are sold raw without further processing. The value chain analysis reveals that farmers capture only 22,79% of the profit margin, while processing partners obtain 77,21%. The SWOT analysis places KTH Satria Mandiri in the defensive quadrant, suggesting strategies focused on strengthening institutional capacity, improving productivity, and expanding market access to ensure economic, social, and ecological sustainability.
