Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis inefisiensi pemupukan menggunakan fertilizer spreader pada musim hujan di perkebunan kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) PT Socfin Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dari aktivitas pemupukan selama tiga bulan (September–November) dengan parameter utama berupa waktu pemupukan, jumlah pokok yang dipupuk, dan curah hujan harian. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dan deskriptif, termasuk uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji t dua sampel, serta analisis regresi linear menggunakan aplikasi Minitab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan efisiensi antara kondisi cuaca tidak hujan dan hujan ringan, dengan penurunan efisiensi sebesar 21,89% pada bulan September, 19,75% pada bulan Oktober, dan 22,45% pada bulan November. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap efisiensi pemupukan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa meningkatnya curah hujan menurunkan kinerja fertilizer spreader, sehingga perlu adanya penyesuaian teknis dan manajemen tenaga kerja selama musim hujan.
This study aims to analyze the inefficiency of fertilization using a fertilizer spreader during the rainy season in the oil palm plantation (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) of PT Socfin Indonesia. Data were collected from fertilization activities for three months (September-November) with the main parameters being the time of fertilization, number of trees fertilized, and daily rainfall. The analytical methods used were quantitative and descriptive analysis, including normality, homogeneity, two-sample t test, and linear regression analysis using Minitab application. The results showed that there was a significant difference in efficiency between no rain and light rain weather conditions, with a decrease in efficiency of 21.89% in September, 19.75% in October, and 22.45% in November. Regression analysis showed that rainfall had a significant negative effect on fertilizer efficiency. Thus, it can be concluded that increased rainfall decreases fertilizer spreader performance, requiring technical adjustments and labor management during the rainy season.
