Clarias garipenus catfish is a type of freshwater fish that is quite popular and efficient to cultivate. The increasing market demand, however, is countered by high mortality and cannibalism, which are among the obstacles to catfish seed cultivation. This problem solving aims to add temulawak extract with different doses through commercial feed to increase the growth rate of sangkuriang catfish Clarias gariepinus seeds. This problem-solving was carried out using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) statistic with three treatments and two replications, namely control (P0), temulawak extract at 6 g/kg feed (P1), and 9 g/kg (P2). The results of the modified study showed that the P1 treatment produced a survival rate (SR) of 92.8 ± 3.18%, a feed conversion rate (FCR) of 0.95 ± 0.63 kg, a feed utilization efficiency (EPP) of 3.59 ± 0.52%, and an absolute length of 7.7 ± 0.2 cm. Based on the results obtained from the control treatment, there was a significant difference. The use of 6 g of curcuma extract per kg of feed resulted in improved performance. |
