Abstract: PT XYZ merupakan salah satu produsen nugget terkemuka yang menghadapi tantangan dalam menjaga konsistensi mutu produknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan jumlah defect produk nugget dan faktor penyebab defect produk nugget. Serta usulan tindakan perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalkan defect produk dan pengaruhnya tindakan perbaikan terhadap nilai six sigma. Metode penelitian menggunakan six sigma dengan pendekatan define, measure, analyze, improve, dan control (DMAIC). Hasil analisis terdapat dua defect yaitu nugget menempel dan bentuk tidak sesuai standar. Ditemukan jenis defect dominan yaitu pada nugget menempel sebesar 85% dari total defect. Hasil diagram sebab akibat defect produk ini disebabkan oleh faktor mesin, manusia, material, dan metode. Berdasarkan penerapan tindakan perbaikan diperoleh persentase defect produk nugget dari 4,30 menjadi 4,50.
PT XYZ is a leading nugget producer facing challenges in maintaining consistent product quality.This study aims to identify the types and number of nugget product defects and the factors causing them. It also proposes corrective actions to minimize product defects and their impact on the six sigma score. The research method used is six sigma with the define, measure, analyze, improve, and control (DMAIC) approach. The analysis revealed two defects stuck nugget and non standard shapes. The dominant defect type was found to be stuck nuggets, accounting for 85% of the total defects. The result of the cause and effect diagram shows that this product defect is caused by machine, human, material, and method factors. Based on the implementation of corrective actions, the percentage of nugget product defects decreased from 4,30 to 4,50.
