Abstract: Ketapang Urban Aquaculture (KUA) adalah lokasi destinasi wisata yang menarik wisatawan di Kecamatan Mauk, Kabupaten Tangerang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis potensi strategi dan rencana aksi pengembangan ekowisata. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah IKW, DDK, WTP, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ketapang Urban Aquaculture memiliki potensi ekowisata yang tinggi, dengan nilai ekonomi berdasarkan WTP mencapai Rp606.574.545 per tahun. Analisis wisata mangrove masuk dalam kategori tidak sesuai, IKW area 1 (1,71), area 2 (1,84), dan area 3 (1,69). DDK wisata mangrove sebesar 186 orang per hari dengan pembagian 2 trip. Analisis SWOT mengindikasikan perlunya strategi dan rencana aksi pengembangan yang menekankan pada peningkatan fasilitas wisata, edukasi lingkungan, serta pelibatan aktif masyarakat lokal. Pengelolaan ekowisata yang baik dan efektif, perlu sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat lokal, dan stakeholders terkait. Dengan demikian, pengembangan ekowisata mangrove di kawasan ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada aspek ekonomi, tetapi juga pada pelestarian ekosistem dan pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir.
Ketapang Urban Aquaculture (KUA) is an attractive tourist destination in Mauk District, Tangerang Regency. The purpose of this assessment is to analyze the potential strategies and action plans for ecotourism development. The data analysis methods used include IKW, DDK, WTP, and SWOT analysis. The research findings indicate that Ketapang Urban Aquaculture possesses high ecotourism potential, with an economic value based on WTP reaching Rp606,574,545 per year. Mangrove tourism analysis falls into the “not suitable” category, with IKW scores of (1,71) for Area 1, (1,84) for Area 2, and (1,69) for Area 3. Mangrove tourism DDK is 186 people per day, divided into 2 trips. The SWOT analysis indicates the need for development strategies and action plans that have the potential to improve tourism facilities, environmental education, and active community involvement. Good and effective ecotourism management requires synergy between the government, local communities, and relevant stakeholders. Thus, the development of mangrove ecotourism in this area not only contributes to economic aspects but also to ecosystem conservation and the empowerment of coastal communities.
