| Abstract: | Peningkatan kualitas pakan kambing penting untuk mendukung produktivitas dan efisiensi pemanfaatan nutrien melalui suplementasi minyak tinggi PUFA dan antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan dampak pemberian suplemen pakan mengandung minyak tinggi PUFA berantioksidan alami dengan dan tanpa enkapsulasi terhadap fermentabilitas, degradasi bahan kering dan bahan organik pada kambing (in vitro). Penelitian menggunakan tiga ekor kambing betina sebagai sumber cairan rumen dengan dua perlakuan, yaitu P1: Minyak tinggi PUFA dan antioksidan tidak terenkapsulasi dan P2: Minyak tinggi PUFA dan antioksidan terenkapsulasi dengan rancangan acak kelompok tiga ulangan. Peubah yang diukur yaitu populasi bakteri dan protozoa rumen, pH rumen, VFA total, konsentrasi NH3, degradasi bahan kering dan bahan organik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji T-test. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata (P>0,05) antara kedua perlakuan pada seluruh peubah fermentasi rumen dan degradasi bahan kering serta organik. Simpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan suplemen minyak tinggi PUFA dengan antioksidan alami terenkapsulasi tidak memberikan perbedaan pada fermentabilitas sehingga aman digunakan sebagai suplemen pakan kambing.

PUFA, suplementasi Improving the quality of goat feed is crucial to support productivity and nutrient utilization efficiency, particularly through supplementation with PUFArich oils and antioxidants. This reserch aimed to compare the effects of supplemented with PUFA-rich oil and natural antioxidants with and without encapsulation, on rumen fermentability, dry matter and organic matter degradation in goats under in vitro conditions. The research involved three female goats and employed two treatments: P1 (non-encapsulated PUFA-rich oil and antioxidant) and P2 (encapsulated PUFA- rich oil and antioxidant), arranged in a randomized block design with three replicates. Observed parameters were rumen bacterial and protozoal populations, rumen pH, total volatile fatty acids (VFA), ammonia (NH3) concentration, degradation of dry and organic matter. Data were analyzed using a T-test. Results indicated no significant differences (P > 0.05) between treatments across all fermentation and digestibility parameters. It can be concluded that supplementation of encapsulated high-PUFA oil and natural antioxidants did not effects rumen fermentative indicating safe use as a supplement in goats.
