| Abstract: | Efektivitas bimbingan belajar (bimbel) daring sangat bergantung pada
kualitas User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) dari Learning Management
System (LMS) yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi
kegunaan (usability) antarmuka pengguna pada LMS Bimbel X dan memberikan
rekomendasi perbaikan melalui redesain. Metode yang digunakan adalah Heuristic
Evaluation Checklist (HEC) yang diadaptasi dari sepuluh prinsip heuristik Nielsen,
dengan melibatkan lima orang evaluator. Data evaluasi dianalisis menggunakan
visualisasi diagram radar untuk membandingkan performa LMS Bimbel X dengan
LMS Bimbel Y sebagai tolok ukur. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya sejumlah
masalah kegunaan, terutama pada aspek Help and Documentation, Flexibility and
efficiency of use, dan Error prevention. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dilakukan
perancangan ulang antarmuka dan dikembangkan sebuah prototipe high-fidelitymenggunakan Figma sebagai usulan solusi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat
menjadi acuan bagi pengembang dalam meningkatkan kualitas LMS untuk
pendidikan daring. The effectiveness of online tutoring heavily depends on the quality of the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of the Learning Management System (LMS) used. This study aims to evaluate the usability of the user interface on the Bimbel X LMS and to provide improvement recommendations through a redesign. The method used is the Heuristic Evaluation Checklist (HEC), adapted from Nielsen's ten heuristic principles, involving five evaluators. Evaluation data were analyzed using radar chart visualizations to compare the performance of the Bimbel X LMS against the Bimbel Y LMS as a benchmark. The results revealed several usability issues, particularly in the aspects of Help and Documentation, Flexibility and efficiency of use, and Error prevention. Based on these findings, an interface redesign was conducted, and a high-fidelity prototype was developed using Figma as a proposed solution. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developers in improving the quality of LMS for online education. |
