| Abstract: | DICKA PRAWIRA YUDHA. Kesediaan Membayar terhadap Jasa
Lingkungan Kawasan Hutan sebagai Penyedia Air Rumah Tangga di Dusun
Tampol, Pemalang. Dibimbing oleh METI EKAYANI dan DANANG
PRAMUDITA.
Kawasan hutan memiliki peran krusial sebagai penyedia jasa lingkungan
hidrologis, namun degradasi lingkungan mengancam ketersediaan air bersih,
membayar (willingness to pay/WTP) masyarakat terhadap jasa lingkungan kawasan
DICKA PRAWIRA YUDHA. Willingness to Pay for Environmental Services of Forest Areas as Household Water Providers in Tampol, Pemalang. SUPERVISED BY METI EKAYANI and DANANG PRAMUDITA. Forest areas play a crucial role in providing hydrological environmental services, but environmental degradation threatens the availability of clean water, particularly in rural areas dependent on natural springs. This study aims to analyze the utilization patterns and management systems of the Rancah spring in Tampol Hamlet, Pemalang, to calculate the community's willingness to pay (WTP) for the environmental services of the forest area as a household water provider, and to formulate strategies for sustainable water resource utilization. Data collection was conducted through observation, structured questionnaires to 52 randomly selected household heads (KK), and in-depth interviews with key informants. Data analysis included qualitative descriptive analysis for utilization patterns and management systems, the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to calculate WTP, and a SWOT analysis for strategy formulation. The results showed an average water use pattern of 539.84 liters per day, with a dominant use of 346.15 liters per day for bathing. The average community WTP for direct contributions is IDR 23,000.00/month, while the average community WTP for indirect contributions is IDR 53,870.36/month. The formulated priority strategies include the formation of institutions, increasing conservation awareness, and multi-party collaboration for the sustainability of springs. |
