| dc.description.abstract | Keamanan rumah menjadi perhatian penting untuk melindungi penghuni dan aset dari ancaman seperti pencurian, terutama saat rumah kosong. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem keamanan rumah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang hemat daya dan dapat beroperasi tanpa koneksi listrik atau internet tetap. Sistem menggunakan Freenove ESP32-Wrover CAM yang dilengkapi kamera, sensor RCWL-0516 untuk membangunkan sistem dari mode hemat daya, dan sensor PIR HC-SR501 untuk memicu pengambilan gambar. Sistem mengirimkan notifikasi gambar melalui Telegram jika mendeteksi pergerakan, atau pesan peringatan melalui SMS menggunakan SIM800L V2 jika internet tidak tersedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dan analisis kuantitatif terhadap performa sensor, notifikasi, dan konsumsi daya. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan 100% dalam pengiriman gambar via Telegram dan SMS, serta 70% untuk pesan teks Telegram. Estimasi daya tahan baterai mencapai 10,7 jam dan hasil aktual rata-rata 10,4 jam dalam kondisi siaga. Sistem ini membuktikan efisiensi tinggi, keandalan dalam berbagai kondisi jaringan, serta potensi untuk diadopsi sebagai alternatif sistem keamanan rumah yang mandiri dan ekonomis. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Home security is essential to protect residents and assets from threats such as burglary, especially when the house is unoccupied. This study aims to develop a power-efficient Internet of Things (IoT)-based home security system capable of operating without a constant power supply or internet connection. The system uses a Freenove ESP32-Wrover CAM with a camera, an RCWL-0516 sensor to wake the device from deep sleep, and a HC-SR501 PIR sensor to trigger image capture. Notifications are sent via Telegram with an image when motion is detected, or via SMS using the SIM800L V2 module if the internet is unavailable. The method involves experimental implementation and quantitative analysis of sensor performance, notification success, and power consumption. Results show 100% success in sending images via Telegram and SMS, and 70% for Telegram text messages. Battery life is estimated at 10.7 hours and averages 10.4 hours in standby mode. The system demonstrates high efficiency, reliability under varying network conditions, and strong potential as a low-cost, self-sufficient home security solution. | - |
