dc.description.abstractTanaman cabai merupakan salah satu komoditas pertanian yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi, namun memerlukan kondisi lingkungan yang optimal untuk tumbuh, terutama dalam hal kelembapan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototype sistem penyiraman otomatis berbasis IoT yang dapat mendeteksi kadar kelembapan tanah pada tanaman cabai menggunakan sensor soil moisture serta mengaktifkan pompa air secara otomatis dan pompa pupuk secara manual dan mengintegrasikan prototype sistem penyiraman otomatis dengan website agar pengguna dapat memantau kadar kelembapan tanah secara real-time dan mengendalikan sistem penyiraman. Hasil dari penelitian akan dianalisis tingkat akurasi sensor soil moisture yang diperoleh untuk membandingkan kadar kelembapan tanah dengan alat ukur konvensional. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dan analisis data secara statistic deskriptif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu bekerja secara optimal sebagai solusi modern untuk menggantikan alat ukur kelembapan tanah konvensional dalam mendukung urban farming pada tanaman cabai.-
dc.description.abstractChili plants are one of the agricultural commodities with high economic value, but they require optimal environmental conditions to grow, especially in terms of soil moisture. This study aims to design a prototype of an IoT-based automatic irrigation system capable of detecting soil moisture levels in chili plants using a soil moisture sensor, automatically activating the water pump, manually activating the fertilizer pump, and integrating the irrigation system prototype with a website so users can monitor soil moisture levels in real time and control the irrigation system. The results of the study will include an analysis of the accuracy level of the soil moisture sensor by comparing the soil moisture readings with conventional measuring tools. The methods used include literature study, observation, documentation, and descriptive statistical data analysis. The test results show that the system can operate optimally as a modern solution to replace conventional soil moisture measuring tools in supporting urban farming for chili plants.-
