| Abstract: | Tenaga kerja pemetikan teh adalah orang-orang yang terlibat dalam proses kegiatan memanen pucuk teh. Secara umum, tugas dari pemetik teh yaitu memetik pucuk teh sesuai kriteria dan mengumpulkan pucuk teh yang telah dipetik ke dalam wadah waringsak untuk selanjutnya diproses lebih lanjut. Pekerjaan sebagai tenaga kerja pemetikan teh dilakukan secara mekanis dan memiliki keterampilan juga keahlian khusus dalam kegiatan pemetikan sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pucuk yang dipetik. Penelitian terkait analisis pengaruh gender dalam praktik pemetikan teh di kebun malabar bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gender terhadap kualitas pemetikan di kebun malabar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa identifikasi data pekerja yang dibuat dalam bentuk kuesioner, sortasi pucuk, data time motion, dan hasil pemetikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, didapatkan pekerja pemetikan teh memiliki pemahaman yang cukup terhadap budidaya tanaman teh. Waktu pemetikan yang didapat laki-laki memiliki kecepatan lebih baik dibandingkan wanita yaitu sebesar 16 menit 28 detik dibandingkan dengan 19 menit 35 detik. Hasil pucuk teh pemetik laki-laki yaitu 336,9 kg orang dibandingkan dengan perempuan sebesar 250,2 kg orang. Tea harvesting labor is the people involved in the process of harvesting tea shoots. In general, the tasks of tea harvesters are picking tea shoots according to the criteria and collecting the tea shoots that have been picked into the waringsak container for further processing. The work as a tea harvesting labor is mechanized and has special skills and expertise in harvesting activities so that it can affect the quality of the plucked shoots. Research related to the analysis of gender influence in tea harvesting practices in Malabar garden aims to determine the influence of gender on the quality of harvesting in Malabar garden. This research was conducted with data collection methods in the form of worker data identification made in the form of questionnaires, shoot sorting, time motion data, and harvest results between men and women. Based on these results, it was found that tea harvesting workers have sufficient understanding of tea plant cultivation. The harvesting time obtained by men has a better speed than women, which is 16 minutes 28 seconds compared to 19 minutes 35 seconds. The yield of tea shoots of male harvesters is 336.9 kg people compared to women of 250.2 kg people. |
