Abstract: Krisis ketahanan pangan global mendorong peningkatan produktivitas pertanian melalui inovasi teknologi, salah satunya benih padi bersertifikat.
The global food security crisis urges increased agricultural productivity through technological innovations, including certified rice seeds. Although their effectiveness is well studied, no systematic review has mapped the direction, key actors, and global research focus. This study aims to identify the dynamics of certified rice seed literature using a bibliometric approach. Data was taken from Scopus in May 2025 and analyzed using VOSviewer with co-occurrence, and bibliographic coupling methods. Results show a surge in publications over the past two decades, mainly driven by contributions from Chinese researchers and institutions. The most influential articles focus on molecular breeding, productivity improvement, and grain quality. Most studies stem from crop and food sciences, while social, economic, and policy aspects remain limited. These findings highlight the need for interdisciplinary research to address real world challenges and enrich global literature toward sustainable food systems.
