| dc.description.abstract | Tantangan dari budidaya ikan nila dengan sistem intensif adalah peningkatan kadar nitrogen anorganik yang bersifat toksik (amonia dan nitrit). Nitrifikasi merupakan salah satu proses di dalam siklus biogeokimia nitrogen yang diperankan oleh mikroorganisme guna merombak amonia menjadi nitrat. Aktivitas nitrifikasi dapat ditingkatkan dengan menambahkan bahan stimulan, salah satunya asam humat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh asam humat terhadap kadar nitrogen anorganik dan pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) pada sistem intensif. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 42 hari menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan perlakuan perbedaan dosis, yaitu AH0 (tanpa pemberian asam humat), AH1 (dosis asam humat 1 mL L-1), AH2 (dosis asam humat 2 mL L-1), dan AH3 (dosis asam humat 3 mL L-1). Pemberian asam humat pada media pemeliharaan dilakukan di awal dan diulang setiap minggu. Materi uji yaitu ikan benih nila dengan panjang total rata-rata 6,69±0,09 cm ekor-1 dan bobot tubuh ratarata 5,47±0,06 g ekor-1. Padat tebar yang digunakan adalah 500 ekor m-3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian asam humat pada media pemeliharaan mampu menekan kadar amonia, nitrit, dan nitrat pada akhir penelitian. Hasil pengukuran tingkat respons stres (glukosa darah dan hemoglobin) dan performa pertumbuhan ikan (pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, laju pertumbuhan bobot harian, dan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik) juga menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari perlakuan pemberian asam humat pada media pemeliharaan dibandingkan kontrol (P<0,05). Perlakuan pemberian asam humat pada media pemeliharaan yang memberikan efek terbaik terhadap kadar nitrogen anorganik, respons stres, dan pertumbuhan diperoleh pada dosis 2-3 mL L-1. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | The challenge in intensive nile tilapia culture is the increase of inorganic nitrogen levels (ammonia and nitrite). Nitrification is one of the processes in the biogeochemical nitrogen cycle carried out by microorganisms to convert ammonia into nitrate. Nitrification activity can be enhanced by adding stimulatory substances, one of which is humic acid. This study aimed to analyze the effect of humic acid on inorganic nitrogen concentrations and the growth of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in an intensive system. The study was conducted for 42 days using a completely randomized design with treatments of different doses: AH0 (no humic acid), AH1 (humic acid dose of 1 mL L-1), AH2 (humic acid dose of 2 mL L-1), and AH3 (humic acid dose of 3 mL L-1). Humic acid was applied to the rearing media at the beginning and repeated weekly. The test subjects were Nile tilapia with an average total length of 6.69±0.09 cm and an average body weight of 5.47±0.06 g. The stocking density used was 500 fish m-³. The results showed that humic acid application in the rearing media was able to suppress the levels of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate at the end of the study. Measurements of stress response (blood glucose and hemoglobin) and fish growth performance (absolute weight gain, daily weight gain, and specific growth rate) also showed significant effects of humic acid treatment compared to the control (P<0.05). The humic acid dose of 2-3 mL L-1 showed the best effects on inorganic nitrogen levels, stress response, and growth performance. | - |
