| Abstract: | Remaja rentan mengalami masalah gizi seperti obesitas akibat pola konsumsi yang tidak sehat salah satunya yaitu pola konsumsi jajanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis keterkaitan uang jajan, kebiasaan jajan, sumbangan energi dan zat gizi makro dari jajanan dengan status gizi pada remaja. Penelitian dengan desain comparatif cross sectional ini melibatkan 210 subjek. Data uang jajan dikumpulkan dengan mengisi kuesioner, kebiasaan jajan dan jenis serta jumlah jajanan untuk memperkirakan kandungan zat gizi makro dikumpulkan melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner FFQ dan food recall 2x24 jam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar status gizi subjek tergolong normal (71,4%), uang jajan tergolong sedang (71,4%), kebiasaan jajan tergolong jarang (59,5 %), asupan dan sumbangan energi dan zat gizi makro dari jajanan terhadap asupan total sehari dan kebutuhan gizi lebih rendah pada subjek kegemukan. Tidak terdapat perbedaan karakteristik subjek, karakteristik keluarga, uang jajan, kebiasaan jajan, sumbangan energi dan zat gizi makro dari jajanan antara subjek overweight dan obese dengan normal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan signifikan antara uang jajan dengan kebiasaan jajan (p<0,05), namun tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kebiasaan jajan sumbangan energi dan zat gizi makro dari jajanan dengan status gizi remaja (p>0,05). Adolescents are susceptible to nutritional problems such as obesity due to unhealthy consumption patterns, one of which is snack consumption patterns. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between pocket money, snacking habits, snack’s energy and macronutrient contributions with nutritional status of adolescents. This comparatif cross-sectional study involved 210 subjects. Pocket money data was collected by filling out questionnaire, snacking habits and type and quantity of snacks to estimate its macronutrients contents were collected through interview using FFQ and 2x24 hours food recall questionnaire, respectively. Result showed that most of the subjects' nutritional status was classified as normal (71.4%), pocket money was classified as moderate (71.4%), snacking habits were rare (59.5%) Intake and contribution of energy and macronutrients from snacks to total daily intake and nutritional needs are lower in overweight and obese subjects. There were no siginficant different in subject characteristics, family characteristics, pocket money, snacking habits and snack’s macronutrient contributions between overweight and obese subjects with normal subjects. There was a significant positive correlation between pocket money and snacking habits (p<0.05),but there was no significant correlation between snacking habits and the contribution of energy and macronutrients from snacks with the nutritional status of adolescents (p>0.05). |
