dc.description.abstractPosisi penyemprotan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam teknik aplikasi pupuk organik cair (POC) yang mempengaruhi efektivitas dan efisiensi penyemprotan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan efektivitas dan efisiensi penyemprotan POC menggunakan sprayer gendong elektrik pada berbagai posisi penyemprotan untuk budidaya tanaman cabai. Pengujian kinerja sprayer gendong elektrik dilakukan di laboratorium menggunakan nosel kerucut 4 lubang dan 6 lubang dan di lahan budidaya pada empat posisi penyemprotan untuk mendapatkan parameter yang akan menentukan efektivitas dan efisiensi penyemprotan pupuk organik cair. Hasil analisis di laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa nosel kerucut 4 lubang dipilih untuk pengujian di lahan budidaya karena memiliki kinerja paling optimal, ditandai dengan diameter droplet terkecil sebesar 181,94 µm, kerapatan droplet tertinggi sebesar 247 droplet/cm2, lebar penyemprotan efektif sebesar 48 cm, dan debit penyemprotan sebesar 1,92 liter/menit. Hasil pengujian di lahan menunjukkan bahwa posisi penyemprotan D (sudut semprot 135o) mampu menghasilkan tinggi tanaman 70,2 cm, pemunculan bunga pada rentang 31-34 hari setelah tanam, bobot rata-rata buah 2,72 gram, panjang dan diameter rata-rata buah sebesar 11,52 cm dan 7,42 mm. Posisi penyemprotan A (sudut semprot 0o) menghasilkan aplikasi POC paling efisien (hemat) dengan losses penyemprotan terendah sebesar 44%, volume losses 232,57 l/ha dan biaya aplikasi terendah Rp105.412/ha.
dc.description.abstractSpraying position is one of the important aspects in liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) application technique that influence spraying effectiveness and efficiency. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of LOF spraying using a knapsack electric sprayer at various spraying positions for chili cultivation. The performance of the electric knapsack sprayer was tested in the laboratory using 4-hole and 6-hole cone nozzles, and in the land cultivation at four different spraying positions, to obtain parameters that would determine the effectiveness and efficiency of spraying liquid organic fertilizer. Laboratory analysis results showed that 4-hole cone nozzle was selected for field testing due to its optimal performance, characterized by the smallest droplet diameter of 181.94 µm, the highest droplet density of 247 droplets/cm², an effective spray width of 48 cm, and a spray discharge rate of 1.92 liters/minute. Field test results indicated that spraying position D (135° spray angle) obtain a plant height of 70.2 cm, flower emergence within 31-34 days after planting, an average fruit weight of 2.72 grams, an average fruit length and diameter of 11.52 cm and 7.42 mm. Spraying position A (0° spray angle) resulted in the most efficient (economical) LOF application, with the lowest spray losses at 44%, a volume loss of 232.57 l/ha, and the lowest application cost of Rp105,412/ha.
