| dc.description.abstract | The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia in 2023 was 21.5%. This indicates that stunting in Indonesia remains above the WHO threshold of 20% and also exceeds the RPJMN 2020–2024 target of 14%. This study aims to analyze the relationship between education, health care, food consumption, and hunger with stunting prevalence, as well as to examine the condition of each variable across 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2023. This study using ecological study design based on 2023 secondary data from Kementerian Kesehatan RI, Badan Pusat Statistik, and Badan Pangan Nasional. Descriptive analysis was used to illustrate the condition of each variable, while inferential analysis was conducted using Pearson or Spearman correlation tests. The results showed significant correlations between stunting prevalence and school participation rate for children aged 7–12 years (p<0.05) and 13–15 years (p<0.05), unmet health care needs (p<0.05), protein adequacy level (p<0.05), and desirable dietary pattern score (p<0.05). No significant correlations were found with school participation for children aged 16–18 years (p>0.05), energy adequacy level (p>0.05), and prevalence of undernourishment (p>0.05). | - |
