Abstract: Ikan manfish Pterophyllum scalare merupakan salah satu ikan hias air tawar yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi dan permintaan pasar yang stabil. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi usaha budidaya ikan manfish, memenuhi permintaan pasar, mengembangkan dan melatih jiwa wirausaha dan menerapkan teknik budidaya yang efisien dan berlkelanjutan. Kegiatan budidaya dilaksanakan dalam enam siklus, mencakup tahapan pemeliharaan induk, pemijahan, penetasan telur, pemeliharaan larva dan benih hingga berukuran 3-4 cm, serta pemasaran. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan produksi tinggi dengan fertilisasi dan penetasan >80%, serta survival rate larva >65%. Usaha ini dinilai layak secara ekonomi dengan R/C ratio >2, payback period 1,88 tahun, dan keuntungan setiap siklus. Strategi usaha diterapkan melalui BMC, SWOT, serta pemasaran STP dan 4P. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam berwirausaha dan menunjukkan potensi usaha pembenihan ikan hias yang berkelanjutan.
Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) is a freshwater ornamental fish with high selling value and stable market demand. This final project aims to assess the potential of angelfish cultivation, meet market demand, develop and train entrepreneurial spirit, and implement efficient and sustainable cultivation techniques. Cultivation activities are carried out in six cycles, including stages of broodstock maintenance, spawning, egg hatching, larval and fry maintenance up to 4-5 cm in size, and marketing. The results show a high production success rate with fertilization and hatching rates of >80%, and larval survival rates of >65%. This business is considered economically feasible with an R/C ratio of >2, a payback period of 1.88 years, and profits per cycle. The business strategy is implemented through BMC, SWOT, and STP and 4P marketing. This activity provides direct experience in entrepreneurship and demonstrates the potential of a sustainable ornamental fish hatchery business.
