The complexity of sustainability issues requires active engagement from younger generations in responsible consumption, although a gap between awareness and behavior remains evident among Generation Z consumers. This study investigated the influence of consciousness for sustainable consumption, ascription of responsibility, and personal norms on sustainable consumption behavior, both directly and indirectly, using the Norm Activation Model based on the Triple Bottom Line. Data from 316 Indonesian Gen Z respondents were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The results show that respondents have moderate levels of awareness, responsibility, norms, and sustainable behavior. Consciousness significantly influences responsibility, personal norms, and behavior, both directly and indirectly. Responsibility also affects norms and behavior. Personal norms directly influence sustainable consumption behavior. Strategies and policies should aim to raise awareness and strengthen moral values.
