| dc.description.abstract | FARISULKHAIR ABDULHAKAM. Karakterisasi Sifat Fisis Dan Listrik Pada Film Selulosa Asetat. Dibimbing oleh MERSI KURNIATI dan AKHIRUDDIN. Film dibuat dengan bahan selulosa asetat yang menggunakan metode inversi fasa untuk melihat kemungkinan dalam pembuatan membran. Pembuatan film memiliki banyak kegunaan yaitu sensor, pelapis, dan bahan semikonduktor. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik film selulosa asetat dengan variasi penambahan pelarut yaitu tanpa penambahan pelarut (SA), penambahan metanol (SAM), dan penambahan metanol dan dioksan (SAD) dengan uji ketebalan, tarik, morfologi permukaan film, porositas, sudut kontak, nilai dielektrik, dan UV-Vis. Film SA dan SAM memiliki karakteristik agak kasar sedangkan SAD licin dan kaku, namun ketiganya berbentuk menyerupai lembaran tipis dan transparan. SAD memiliki porositas 60% sedangkan SA dan SAM 87% dan 80%. Begitu juga dengan nilai absorbansi dengan SAM yaitu 0,382 pada panjang gelombang 286,5 nm. Berbanding terbalik dengan nilai dielektrik, dimana SAD memiliki nilai dielektrik 336,36 pada frekuensi 1000 Hz sedangkan SA hanya 2,15. SAD memiliki nilai kuat tarik terbesar yaitu 2,195 (N/m2). Ketebalan SAD lebih seragam dan tebal dengan rata-rata 0,033 mm sisi 1 dan 0,037 mm sisi 2. Pada uji sudut kontak didapat nilai SAD memiliki nilai 57° yang menunjukkan hidrofilisitas yang lebih baik dari SAM yang berada pada sudut kontak 63°. Film SA dan SAM memiliki potensi digunakan sebagai membran, sementara SAD berpotensi untuk pengujian yang terkait dengan nilai dielektrik. | dc.description.abstract | FARISULKHAIR ABDULHAKAM. Characterization of Physical and Electrical Properties of Cellulose Acetate Films. Supervised by MERSI KURNIATI and AKHIRUDDIN The film was made from cellulose acetate using the phase inversion method to see the possibility of making membranes. The film making has many uses, namely sensors, coatings, and semiconductor materials. The study aims to analyze the characteristics of cellulose acetate films with variations in solvent addition, namely without solvent addition (SA), methanol addition (SAM), and methanol and dioxane addition (SAD) with thickness, tensile, film surface morphology, porosity, contact angle, dielectric value, and UV-Vis tests. SA and SAM films have slightly rough characteristics while SAD is smooth and stiff, but all three are shaped like thin and transparent sheets. SAD has a porosity of 60% while SA and SAM are 87% and 80%. Likewise, the absorbance value with SAM is 0.382 at a wavelength of 286.5 nm. Inversely proportional to the dielectric value, where SAD has a dielectric value of 336.36 at a frequency of 1000 Hz while SA is only 2.15. SAD has the largest tensile strength value of 2.195 (N/m2). The thickness of SAD is more uniform and thick with an average of 0.033 mm on side 1 and 0.037 mm on side 2. In the contact angle test, the SAD value is 57°, which indicates better hydrophilicity than SAM which is angle contact at 63°. SA and SAM films have the potential to be used as membranes, while SAD has the potential for testing related to dielectric values. | - |
