| Abstract: | Setiap tahun, konsumsi susu nasional meningkat dan produsen susu membutuhkan peralatan teknologi canggih untuk mendukung kebutuhan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan alat untuk melakukan metode pengujian kualitas susu yang cepat sebelum distribusi sebagai alternatif dari metode konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil pengukuran komposisi susu sapi segar menggunakan NIRS portabel dan Milkotester. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua instrument, yaitu Milkotester Master Eco dan portabel NIR Spectrometer. Sampel susu segar diambil dari dua lokasi dengan lima peternakan berbeda. Metode Partial Least Square (PLS) digunakan untuk analisis data dan diprediksi menggunakan perangkat lunak Unscrambler X 10.4. Microsoft Excel dan perangkat lunak SPSS dengan Independent T-test digunakan untuk analisis data lebih lanjut. Model PLS-DA digunakan untuk menganalisis komposisi susu dari pemerahan pagi dan sore. Model terbaik adalah Derivative-1 pada LV 3 dengan nilai akurasi dan sensitivitas masing-masing sebesar 82,5% dan 94,33%. Metode PLS-R mampu memprediksi komposisi lemak susu. Perlakuan terbaik adalah SNV pada LV 8. Kinerja model ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi (R²c dan R²p) sebesar 0,865 dan 0,828. Hasil Independent T-test pada kandungan lemak susu yang diukur dengan Milkotester dan NIR Spektrometer (NIRS) menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Namun, metode ini belum optimal untuk memprediksi komposisi protein dan laktosa. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu mengoptimalkan dalam hal prediksi komposisi kimiawi protein dan laktosa, dengan menggunakan jenis NIRS lain dengan panjang spektrum yang berbeda. National milk consumption increases annually, and milk producers need sophisticated technological equipment to support consumer needs. Therefore, a rapid method for testing the quality of milk before distribution as an alternative to conventional methods is needed. This study aimed to compare the results of measuring the composition of fresh cow's milk using portable NIRS and Milkotester. This study used two measuring instruments, namely Milkotester Master Eco and NIR Spectrometer (NIRS). Fresh milk samples were taken from two locations with five different farms. The Partial Least Square (PLS) method was used for data analysis and predicted using the Unscrambler X 10.4 software. Microsoft Excel and SPSS software with Independent T-tests were used for further data analysis. For analyzing milk composition from morning and evening milking, the PLS-DA model was used. The best model is Derivative-1 at factor 3 with accuracy and sensitivity values of 82.5% and 94.33%, respectively. The PLS-R method was able to predict the fat composition of milk. The best pretreatment was SNV at factor 8. The performance of this model was indicated by correlation coefficients (R²c and R²p) of 0,865 and 0,828. The results of the Independent T-test on the fat content of milk measured by Milkotester and NIR Spectrometer showed no significant difference. However, this method was not optimum for predicting the composition of protein and lactose. Further research needs to optimize in terms of predicting the chemical composition of proteins and lactose, using other types of NIRS with different spectrum lengths. |
