Oil palm is a strategic commodity that not only supports the economy of Gunung Tuleh District but also influences the local social and environmental dynamics. Amidst its important role, production efficiency and community perception have become key concerns, particularly in Nagari Ranah Sungai Magelang as the center of oil palm development. This study aims to analyze: (1) the factors affecting productivity, (2) the level of technical efficiency, and (3) community perceptions of oil palm farming in terms of economic, social, and environmental aspects. Data were analyzed using the stochastic frontier production and cost functions with the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method. The results show that dolomite fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, and labor significantly affect productivity. The average technical efficiency value was 0,43 indicating an efficiency value <0,7, meaning that, on average, farmers are not yet technically efficient. Community perceptions on economic, social, and environmental aspects had average scores of 2.81; 2.55; and 2.61, respectively, indicating a positive view of the land conversion for oil palm plantations.
