Abstract: Hutan Kemasyarakatan (HKm) merupakan skema program Perhutanan Sosial yang digunakan oleh anggota KTH Sikayan Balumuik, Kota Padang, Provinsi SumateraBarat untuk mendapatkan akses kelola lahan hutan untuk kegiatan kehutanan dan pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk pengelolaan HKm dan kontribusi HKm terhadap pendapatan dan tingkat kesejahteraan anggota KTH Sikayan Balumuik. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Responden dipilih secara purposive sampling sebanyak 50 orang yang merupakan petani anggota KTH aktif. Pengelolaan HKm yang dilakukan oleh petani, meliputi penyiapan lahan, pengolahan tanah, penanaman, pemeliharaan, pemanenan, dan pemasaran. Nilai kontribusi HKm terhadap petani anggota KTH tergolong tinggi yaitu rata-rata 94% dari pendapatan rumah tangga petani, yang menandakan petani memiliki ketergantungan hidup yang tinggi terhadap sumberdaya hutan.
Community Forestry (HKm) is a social forestry scheme used by members of KTH Sikayan Balumuik in Padang City, West Sumatra Province, to obtain access to land management for forestry and agricultural activities. This study aims to analyse the form of HKm management and the contribution of HKm to the income and welfare of members of KTH Sikayan Balumuik. The study employed a survey method. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling, comprising 50 active farmer members of the KTH. The HKm management practices carried out by farmers include land preparation, soil cultivation, planting, maintenance, harvesting, and marketing. The contribution of HKm to KTH members is relatively high, accounting for 94% of farmers' household income, indicating that farmers are highly dependent on the forest for their livelihoods.
