Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Usaha Ternak Sapi Perah Dan Persepsi Anggota Koperasi Terhadap Layanan KPS Bogor

Abstract

Koperasi Produksi Susu dan Usaha Peternakan (KPS) Bogor merupakan wadah bagi para peternak sapi perah dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan melalui produksi dan pemasaran susu segar. Koperasi ini berperan dalam mendukung efisiensi dan keberlanjutan usaha peternakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor memengaruhi produksi usaha ternak sapi perah di Kabupaten dan Kota Bogor, (2) Menganalisis tingkat efisiensi produksi pada usaha ternak sapi perah di Kabupaten dan Kota Bogor, (3) Menganalisis persepsi anggota koperasi terhadap layanan KPS Bogor. Metode yang digunakan meliputi fungsi produksi Cobb Douglas Stochastic Frontier untuk analisis faktor produksi, pendekatan Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) untuk efisiensi teknis menggunakan Frontier 4.1, rasio NPM/BKM untuk efisiensi ekonomi, serta analisis persepsi menggunakan skala likert. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa (1) Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi produksi adalah hijauan dan konsentrat, (2) Rata-rata efisiensi teknis sebesar 0,907 menunjukkan usaha tergolong efisien secara teknis, dengan inefisiensi signifikan hanya dipengaruhi oleh keanggotaan koperasi. Namun, penggunaan input hijauan, konsentrat, dan tenaga kerja masih perlu ditingkatkan, sementara penggunaan ampas tahu perlu dikurangi agar alokasi input lebih optimal, (3) Persepsi anggota koperasi terhadap layanan KPS Bogor dengan penilaian terbesar adalah aspek administrasi koperasi dengan skor rataan 4,12 kategori baik.

The Dairy Production and Livestock Cooperative (KPS) Bogor serves as a platform for dairy farmers to enchance their welfare through fresh milk production and marketing. This cooperative plays a key role in supporting the efficiency and sustainability of dairy farming. This study aims to: (1) identify factors influencing dairy farm production in Bogor Regency and Municipality, (2) analyze the production efficiency of dairy farming, and (3) assess cooperative members’ perceptions of KPS Bogor’s services. The analysis employed the Cobb-Douglas Stochastic Frontier production function for identifying production factors, the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) with Frontier 4.1 software for technical efficiency, the MVP/MFC ratio for economic efficiency, and the Likert scale for perception analysis. The results show that: (1) forage and concentrate significantly influence production, (2) the average technical efficiency is 0.907, indicating technical efficiency, with significant inefficiency influenced only by cooperative membership. However, forage, concentrate, and labor inputs need to be increased, while tofu waste should be reduced to improve input allocation, and (3) the cooperative members' perception of the Bogor KPS service with the highest assessment is the cooperative administration aspect with an average score of 4.12 in the good category.
