Nasional Komodo. Sebagian besar site di Taman Nasional Komodo memiliki
persentase kondisi karang hidupnya sebesar 50%. Penelitian ini bertujuan
mengetahui kondisi kesehatan terumbu karang, distribusi kelimpahan terumbu
Clavularia, Lobophytum, Nepthea, Sarcophyton, Sinularia, Stereonephthya,
Padar Island is one of the large islands in the Komodo National Park area. Most of the site In Komodo National Park, the percentage of living coral conditions is 50%. This research aims to determine the health condition of coral reefs, the distribution of abundance of soft coral reefs, and the mortality rate of coral reefs on Padar Island, Komodo National Park. The hard coral data collection method used is Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) using quadratic transects at 7 dive locations. Soft coral (SC) was found at all station points with a percentage (2.69 – 71.34%). The condition of the coral reef ecosystem on Padar Island is included in the bad category. The abundance of soft corals on Padar Island was found to be quite large, consisting of 11 genera Briareum, Carijoa, Cespitularia, Clavularia, Lobophytum, Nepthea, Sarcophyton, Sinularia, Stereonephthya, Tubipora and Xenia. The mortality rate on Padar Island is relatively high, indicating that live coral is changing to dead coral. |
