The corydoras venezuela (Corydoras aeneus) is a freshwater ornamental fish species with high market demand. However, fry availability from breeders has not yet met this demand, potentially due to limited production. Therefore, this study aims to determine the optimal sex ratio of corydoras venezuela (Corydoras aeneus) broodstock to improve reproductive productivity. The research was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments and three replications. The treatments included MF1:1 (ratio 1:1), MF2:1 (ratio 2:1), and MF3:1 (ratio 3:1). The results showed that the MF2:1 treatment produced the best outcomes and had a significant effect (P<0,05) on spawning frequency, with an average of 7,63±2,52, total egg production with an average of (1229±229,7) eggs, and a fertilization rate (FR) of (89,3±1,09)%. The variation in broodstock sex ratio has been proven to enhance the breeding productivity of corydoras venezuela.-
