Abstract: Dalam proses bisnis perusahaan, pengelolaan proposal asuransi jiwa yang masih dilakukan secara konvensional mengakibatkan keterlambatan, kesalahan pencatatan, dan kesulitan dalam pelacakan data historis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen proposal asuransi jiwa karyawan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Agile. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengotomatisasi proses pembuatan, pengajuan, dan monitoring proposal asuransi jiwa bagi karyawan secara lebih efisien dan terstruktur. Metode Agile digunakan untuk memungkinkan pengembangan sistem yang adaptif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna dengan iterasi yang cepat dan kolaborasi yang intensif. Untuk memastikan kualitas sistem, pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode white-box dan black-box testing. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, akurasi data, serta memberikan transparansi dalam proses pengajuan proposal asuransi jiwa karyawan.
In current business processes, managing life insurance proposals conventionally leads to delays, recording errors, and difficulties in tracking historical data. This study aims to design and develop an employee life insurance proposal management information system using the Agile software development methodology. The system is designed to automate the creation, submission, and monitoring of life insurance proposals for employees in a more efficient and structured manner. The Agile method was applied to enable adaptive system development that responds to changing user needs through rapid iterations and intensive collaboration. To ensure system quality, both white-box and black-box testing methods were used during testing. The results of this study indicate that the developed information system can improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and transparency in the employee life insurance proposal process.
