| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan backend sistem informasi PINTEK UIN Jakarta menggunakan Node.js dengan arsitektur RESTful API untuk memperbaiki pengelolaan data yang terintegrasi. Metode prototyping diterapkan untuk pengembangan secara iteratif berdasarkan masukan pengguna, serta dilakukan pengujian performa menggunakan load testing untuk membandingkan backend baru dengan sistem lama berbasis WordPress.
Hasil menunjukkan backend Node.js berhasil mengintegrasikan frontend dan backend secara optimal. Pengujian black box mengonfirmasi fitur berjalan sesuai rancangan, sedangkan load testing memperlihatkan response time lebih cepat dan tingkat failed request yang lebih rendah dibandingkan backend lama. Mekanisme soft delete juga memberikan fleksibilitas dalam pengelolaan data artikel.
Dengan demikian, pengembangan backend menggunakan Node.js dan RESTful API berkontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas dan performa sistem informasi PINTEK UIN Jakarta. This study aims to develop the backend of the PINTEK UIN Jakarta information system using Node.js with a RESTful API architecture to improve integrated data management. The prototyping method was applied for iterative development based on user feedback, and performance testing was conducted using load testing to compare the new backend with the previous WordPress-based system. The results show that the Node.js backend successfully integrates the frontend and backend optimally. Black box testing confirms that the features function as designed, while load testing indicates faster response times and a lower rate of failed requests compared to the old backend. The soft delete mechanism also provides flexibility in managing article data. Therefore, backend development using Node.js and RESTful API contributes significantly to improving the quality and performance of the PINTEK UIN Jakarta information system. |
