| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to examine the effect of altitude on the production yield of robusta coffee (Coffea canephora) at Bangelan Estate. Altitude is one of the key agroclimatic factors that can influence temperature, humidity, and rainfall, which in turn directly affect coffee plant productivity. The research was conducted across five different elevation zones, ranging from 400 to 600 meters above sea level, with primary observed parameters including total production (kg), productivity (kg/ha), and dry yield (kg). The study employed direct field observations as well as descriptive and statistical analysis methods. The results showed a clear increase in production yield with increasing altitude, with the 600-meter elevation zone recording the highest values in all observed parameters. These findings indicated that higher altitudes provide more favorable microclimatic conditions for the growth and production of robusta coffee. | - |
