| dc.description.abstract | The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) is used to assess soil strength and bearing capacity. Slopes are closely related to landslides, which are related to soil bearing capacity and strength. The Baduy tribe's soil cultivation follows a dry land management system with a shifting cultivation system (field rotation) on sloping land. The agricultural system applied is only done by menugal, thereby creating soil with natural conditions. A study aimed at analyzing the use of CBR values on four slope classes in agricultural land was conducted in Cibungur Village, Leuwidamar Subdistrict, Lebak Regency, Banten Province. The research methods included measuring soil penetration resistance using a Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) and analyzing the soil properties that influence it. This study is descriptive and exploratory. The results show that CBR values increase with steeper slope classes. This is due to increased soil density in each slope class, resulting in steeper slopes having denser and harder soil properties. Factors closely influencing CBR values include bulk density, soil texture, and plasticity index. | - |
