Time and cost management are key factors for the success of building construction projects. This research focuses on the optimal approach to managing project duration and cost through the application of the Critical Path Method (CPM), Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), and project crashing methods. The analysis was conducted using Excel software and Julia programming. CPM is employed to identify the most critical path and the shortest estimated project completion time. Meanwhile, PERT accounts for potential variations and uncertainties in the duration of each activity. Project crashing methods are applied to the most crucial activities to shorten project completion time, while considering the most efficient cost additions. The combination of these methods significantly aids managers in making informed decisions for optimal project management. |
